COVID-19 Vaccinations at Carolina
UNC-CH undergraduate students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, faculty, and staff can be vaccinated at the Carolina Vaccination Clinic.
The clinic has access to vaccines and boosters from Pfizer and Moderna.
There will be no out-of-pocket cost to those who receive a vaccine or booster. Bring your insurance card; your insurance will cover administrative costs.
Plan for your visit to take up to 45 minutes. You will need to remain on-site for the entirety of your visit including an observation period. Due to volume, the wait time may vary and facility hours may require you to visit another day.
On-campus vaccines and boosters are offered at Student Stores Pharmacy on the top floor of UNC Student Stores as well as Campus Health Pharmacy in the basement of Campus Health.
No appointment is needed - visit either pharmacy between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays. Due to volume, the wait time may vary and facility hours may require you to visit another day. Please note that Student Stores Pharmacy is closed on Martin Luther King, Jr holiday.
Who should receive a booster?
- Those who received Johnson & Johnson over 2 months ago.
- Those who received Moderna who are 5 months past their 2nd dose and age 18 years and up.
- Those who received Pfizer who are 5 months past their 2nd dose and age 12 years and up.
